This brief aimed to create a publication based on the theme of Carrying the Fire.​

Our personal experiences and the lack of creative normality throughout the pandemic inspired this project. By reflecting over the past year, we recognised our resilience to this challenging and unprecedented change in daily living. We aimed to encapsulate the spirit and resilience of design students throughout the pandemic, highlighting the stories behind the people and their new 'home studios' through a unifying flag. Using a flag as a symbol of solidarity and togetherness while separated, we aimed to call attention to how so many were, with difficulty but respectfully, carrying on.
